this post shall be an insightful one.

but how insightful can I get? I have georgia on my mind. I actually have 10000000000000000000000000 projects and assignments to complete and I'm wasting away blogging. Chill. I'm just exaggerating.

So what is happening to the world nowadays?
1. Economic Recession. Economists say that the worse has yet to come. I am scared. The way they portray the great depression in my history textbook is frightening. But with Obama's stimulus plan and his recent hopeful and optimistic speech, billions of Americans will work their way up towards economic stability once again.

2. Wars. Be it on terrorism or just for plain violence. Obama announced that he plans to withdraw the American troops from Iraq and place them in Afghanistan to curb the Taleban. I always hated studying Terrorism. Depressing topic. They say its a holy war. I say its just plain fun killing people, isn't it?
However, with someone like Obama leading America towards redemption, and leading the world towards salvation, I have hope. Hope that the world will become a better place for our children to live in. :)

3. Poverty. in Africa. In India. even in the fattest country on planet earth, USA. Singaporeans like to waste. I mus confess, I am one of them. There is nothing much I can do. If I were Angelina Jolie, I would want to visit all those poverty-striken areas as well. Society just forbids us to. For now, I can start by not wasting my food. Which is difficult, considering my inner struggle to curb all those indulgences surrounding me.. Food should be well spread. Equally spread is a better word.

4. There are more problems that the world is facing right now. I really want to be more involved in politics. But its just not my thang. I can't even vote in the next GE. I would love to go to the states and take part in the next elections, come 2012..I will be 21:)
